Hello/Namaste

I am an applied economist specializing in the Economics of Education, Political Economy, and Development Economics. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor (Research) at the Centre for Global Learning (GLEA) at Coventry University and am a research affiliate with the Institute for Fiscal Studies in London. In addition, I work as a Research and Evaluation Advisor for the NGO ASPIRE.

Before this, I held the role of Research Director and Senior Manager at ASPIRE for 4.5 years, and I previously worked as a Research Economist at the World Bank in Washington DC, collaborating with the Middle-East North Africa Vice-President and Chief Economist units.

My research focuses on addressing the challenges faced by marginalized communities, illuminating their historical struggles, current barriers, and potential paths forward. I conduct empirical research deeply connected to grassroots realities, aiming to help practitioners and policymakers translate data-driven insights into actionable policies that drive change.
